Smacks of being a form letter&#8230; not one personal touch in it, and no signature, although the name at the bottom is Kelly Hanick, senior director of customer service, to whom I sent my original letter.<\/p>\n<p>After reiterating that the fee can&#8217;t be reversed, the letter goes on to provide some helpful tips for avoiding future late payments, the first of which is &#8220;Please mail all payments at least five days prior to the due date on the statement.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Um&#8230; how about submitting payment electronically eleven days before the due date on the statement? Wouldn&#8217;t that be kind of the same concept?<\/p>\n<p>A Google search yielded <a href=\"http:\/\/www.complaintsboard.com\/complaints\/chase-bank-c220853.html\">some very similar complaints<\/a> from people in the same boat as me.<\/p>\n<p>Guess I&#8217;ll be looking for a new credit card provider&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I got a response from Chase today in regards to the letter I sent about my recent crappy experience with their company.
