I made this half scale house by bashing two of Greenleaf’s laser cut Rosedale kits together. Most of the work was done in 2011, and I did the finishing touches and landscaping in 2014. Read more about the Great Rosedale Bash on my blog .

This is what the Rosedale looks like when you build it the right way.

I used two Rosedale kits to create a mirror image wing on the right, and an additional story.

I added a Houseworks door to provide access to the balcony area. The railing is made from a leftover 1:12 trim piece, with scratch built newel posts.

I haven't finished decorating the inside, but here's how it looks as of April 2016.

I landscaped the house in May 2014 but didn't add the house number until July, so it's number 714.

The Rosedale has a really cute staircase tucked in by the door.

These tables and benches are made from Daisy House kits (sadly now discontinued). I scratch built the window seat.

The trim between the dining area and kitchen is from the front door of the second kit.

The cabinets and appliances are made from kits by Bonnie Lavish.

The smaller room on the first floor is a home office. I built the bookshelf in under the stairs but haven't filled it up yet...

Close-up of the desk. It's not messy enough yet!

The couch was a red-checkered Lee's Line couch but I didn't like the design, so I painted it with fabric paint. It looks like leather now. I still need to paint the 3D printed lamp.

I plan to hang a TV on the bare wall.

I haven't figured out what to do with this little room yet.

A modern bathroom.

I scratch built this sink. The basins are 1:12 bowls.

The funky layout makes it tough to get a good picture of the bedroom. The bed is a Daisy House kit and the nightstand is Cassidy Creations. The dresser is an old kit I got at a flea market (not sure of the brand) that I also plan to paint black, like they're all a set. I love this quilt but the colors aren't quite right for this room, so it's only temporary.

The stairs I added come up into this room.

I'd planned to make this a master bathroom, but right above the other bathroom it seemed redundant, so I turned it into a laundry instead. I still need to paint the Cassidy Creations washer and dryer.

Low ceilings and no windows to provide light make it hard to get a good picture of this little attic room. Maybe I should add a skylight...?

The distressed bench and teddy bear came from eBay. The bed, chest, and bedside table in this room are from
A Trifle Small .

I cross-stitched the quilt.
